EYECON MEDICAL Moldova has started a good collaboration with the Technical University of Moldova.
The Technical University of Moldova was founded in 1964 and, in a short while, it become a very important educational, scientific and cultural center. Nowadays, the Technical University of Moldova is the only state accredited institution in this field, with a number of 10.000 students studying in 64 specialties in 9 faculties, and another 1.600 students in masteral and doctoral studies.
The biomedical engineering field has arisen from the necessity of the cooperation between medical professionals and specialists in enginery, informatics and hard sciences, in order to solve interdisciplinary problems of medicine and biology: the modernization of devices for diagnostics and treatment, the medical research and the management of medical technologies.
The Department for Microelectronics and Biomedical Engineering of TUM ensures highly performant scientific and didactic platforms equipped with modern devices and micro-processing systems. In this department is also running the activity of the National Center for Biomedical Engineering.
