In the beginning of November 2015, several hospitals around Romania have received the visit of a specialized team with expertise in hypothermia associated problems. The focus of the visits was to offer viable and affordable solutions for hospitals, so that patients from neonatal ward to operating room or intensive care unit can avoid hypothermia related complications at minimum costs.

The solutions presented by EYECON MEDICAL come from one of our company's suppliers, the Swedish manufacturer KANMED, which has more than 20 years experience in the field of patient warming systems. All solutions are very well researched and the products are safe, cost effective and easy to use.

The neonatology or surgery wards in several hospitals from Bucharest, Brasov, Ploiesti, Sibiu and Timisoara have received trials or demo products in:

• BABY WARMER and BABY BED - the neonatal system designed to keep premature, near term or new-born babies perfectly warm, to leave the incubator earlier, to relax, sleep better and grow optimally;
  
  
• OPERATHERM - an intraoperative system designed for keeping the patient warm and thus preventing from suffering hypothermia related complications like increase in wound infection, prolonged bleeding, longer hospitalization etc.
  
  
• WARMING CABINETS - a versatile solution designed to be used in the pre-operation and recovery area in order to prevent perioperative hypothermia and to increase patient comfort, by warming textiles (blankets, towels, sheets), fluids (irrigation, intravenous, dialysis) and others items (gel pads, instruments).
