The "Dr. Iacob Czihac" Clinical Military Emergency Hospital in Iasi is an institution founded in 1830-1831, a time which marked the beginning of military medical service and the establishment of the first military hospitals in the region of Moldavia. At that time, the military hospital in Iasi had a capacity of 40 beds and was managed by doctor I. Czihak, chief medical of the Land Guard and, during its first three years of existence, the hospital gained full military medical staff, fyrd organisation and hospital trousseau (instruments, medicines and things necessary for patient accommodation and care).
After almost two centuries of existence, this hospital has a well asserted scientific individuality, due to its valuable professional environment and prolific research. Nowadays, the hospital has a capacity of 200 beds and functions in six locations, covering a wide range of medical specialties, imagistic and laboratory investigations, as well as ambulatory specialised consulting rooms.
In the autumn of 2017, EYECON MEDICAL designed and emplaced a large part of the medical gases installation in this hospital, with monitoring and alarming panels, and also with consoles for medical gases distribution. EYECON MEDICAL delivered a training for the medical personnel, and engaged to provide service and maintenance activity during the warranty period of the system for distribution of medical gases.
