Rhinology, an important subspecialty of Otorhinolaryngology (ENT), addresses to a diverse and frequent pathology, with important interdisciplinary implications. The desideratums of modern medicine - supraspecialization, interdisciplinarity and proof based medicine - determined that scientific societies of Rhinology around the world to be the most dynamic and appreciated.
Besides partnerships with similar international organisms and exchanges of experience, the activity of the Romanian Society of Rhinology (RSR) also includes multicentric studies and periodical scientific reunions.
Such a specialized event was organized by RSR in Piatra Neamt, between 4-6 September 2013, namely The Second Congress of Rhinology that has reunited an important part of the otorhinolaryngology specialists interested in this domain.
