PONDERAS Hospital from Bucharest is one the most ambitious avant-garde projects in Romania, unique by its specific: bariatric and metabolic advanced surgery. Launched in 2011, having a short history but with a large number of notable results, Ponderas Hospital is one of the most modern hospitals in South-Eastern Europe.
At the beginning of 2016, Ponderas Hospital has become part of Regina Maria Health Network, being the largest hospital of this group and representing a significant growth for it in terms of quality and medical excellence.
PONDERAS offers complete medical services: hospital, dispensary and medical imaging, covering all clinical and surgical specialties, but with focus on avant-garde laparoscopic surgery. With a capacity of 141 beds, 35 specialised consulting rooms and 8 operating rooms, this hospital has treated 250.000 patients in its 5 years of activity.
Laparoscopic surgery is considered the future of medicine, due to the medical, psychic and esthetic benefits that it brings to patients: limited post-operatory pains, fast healing, reduced convalescence, healing with almost no scars.
EYECON MEDICAL supplied a set of medical equipment to Ponderas Hospital, through a project fulfilled by the end of December 2014:

Medical step ladder with one or two stairs;
Mobile trolley for equipment;
Mobile serving tables.
The collaboration with this hospital has continued so that, in October 2016, EYECON MEDICAL had delivered and installed highly performant equipment of European origin for the sterilization line:
