The Emergency Ward of Pitesti Hospital for Pediatrics has been modernized with high quality equipment supplied and installed by EYECON MEDICAL during spring 2016. As a result, this ward is now ensuring the best conditions for patients and doctors in order to receive and treat a large range of pediatric emergency situations.
EYECON MEDICAL has integrated the following equipment:
Distribution system for medical gases and fluids;
Bed-head units for ICU;
Bed-head units for medical gases and electricity;
Medical furniture: beds, bedside cabinets, lockers;
IV poles;
Couches for waiting room;
Infant manikin for resuscitation, with electronic panel.

Pitesti Hospital for Pediatrics offers assistance for most of the medical affections that children with ages from 0 to 18 years can suffer, ensuring ambulatory and hospital services, examinations, treatments, infant surgery, laboratory investigations and also imagistic investigations. The capacity of this hospital is of 411 beds, including 271 beds for in-patients, 25 beds for out-patients and 115 beds for accompanying adults for children under 3 years old.
In order to ensure these services, the hospital is equipped with medium to high performance medical devices for the activity of its Intensive Care ward, the five rooms of the Operating Theater, the laboratory for radiology and imagistic diagnostics.
During the summer of 2015, a complex project for extending the Emergency Ward was initiated. Within this project, EYECON MEDICAL is implementing the entire system for the distribution of medical gases and fluids, including the bed-head units for the 11 patients that this ward will accommodate.
