The beginning of 2014 marked the fulfilment of a new project for EYECON MEDICAL - a complex project of rehabilitation and modernization of ORADEA MATERNITY HOSPITAL.
This institution was created in 1890, as Oradea Jewish Hospital, with Internal ward, Surgery ward and Births ward; after several changes in its status and denomination over the time, it became Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. The maximum capacity was reached in 1995, 605 beds, nowadays having 365 beds and a number 388 employees, including the 42 physicians.
The rehabilitation of this hospital required a large number of procedures, from compartmenting and finishing, up to modernization - replacing the floor, joinery, ceiling, thermal insulation, changing of plumbing and other systems.
At this moment, one of the results is that each recovery room has its own restroom and washbasin, and the nurse call system is at hand for any patient in each salon.
Through this project, the sanitary, electrical, medical and heating-ventilation systems were replaced entirely.
EYECON MEDICAL supplied and installed the medical gases supply and distribution system, which includes:
- Bed-head units for medical gases and electricity:
- for the recovery rooms;
- for new-borns in the labour/birth room, operating room and new-borns room;
- for mothers in the labour room;
