"Louis Turcanu" Emergency Clinical Hospital for Children Timisoara has a one-century tradition starting in 1903, the year of its foundation with the help of a substantial donation made of a local businessman. This clinic has evolved very much during its history and developed in both scientific and medical areas, through professional activity and university educational process, as well as in terms of patrimony.
Nowadays, the 5 clinics of the hospital offer 501 beds for patients and 65 beds for accompanying persons, and the services cover the entire range of pediatric specialties. This hospital is also the main medical entity in the western part of Romania designated to treat medical and surgical-orthopedic emergencies in children.
During autumn 2017, EYECON MEDICAL delivered several pediatric beds for Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care ward of this hospital. The caracteristics of these beds are needed and specific for ICU: they not only enhance the confort of the young patients, but also ensure the most adequate conditions for the medical personnel to provide the best treatment and care for children in critical condition.
