During 22nd-24th of September 2013, the city of Chisinau hosted the 19th edition of The Balkan Medical Union Days, and also the second edition of The Congress of Emergency Medicine in the Republic of Moldova.

This double event was attended by over 800 specialists, from more than 25 countries. The very diverse themes focused on modern problems of diagnostics and treatment of surgical emergencies, a real opportunity for all the participants to contribute with a variety of scientific studies and professional experiences, through a multidisciplinary approach.
