CARDIOLIFE Center for Interventional Cardiology has been inaugurated on the 11th of December 2013, within Arad Clinical Emergency County Hospital, this center being realized through a partnership between local authorities and private investors.

This partnership was necessary in order to make possible, in absence of public funds, the needed rehabilitation of Arad hospital and to assure the proper conditions for heart surgery. Now, the patients can address locally, until now they being forced to go abroad or somewhere else in the country for this kind of surgery.

The most significant benefits for the cardiac patients in this country area are that emergencies would be treated without any costs at CARDIOLIFE private clinic, and post-surgery recovery would be assured in the same location, but within Cardiology Ward of Arad County Hospital, where two patient rooms have been inaugurated, on the same day, completely renovated and with modern equipment.

In Arad, EYECON MEDICAL realized the rehabilitation of the patient rooms in the Cardiology Ward of the County Hospital, and for Cardiolife center realized the infrastructure and supplied the specialized medical equipments mentioned below:

• Oxygen supply system, including distribution pipes, monitoring panel, bed-head unit for two patients, oxygen outlets, oxygen flow-meters;
• Manual hinged door with X-ray protection, electrical beds, patient privacy system with foldable curtains, washing basin with water microfiltration, trolleys with basket for electrosurgical unit, complete trolleys for medication, bedpan and urinal washer;
• Equipments: suction unit, electrosurgical unit with autoclavable handle, infusion cuff, resuscitation bag, laryngoscope set, Guedel pipes, scissors, sphygmomanometer with trolley, adjustable jetpull tourniquet, bedpan and urinal.
