Events >> The National Course in Guidelines and Protocols for AIC
"Timisoara, world capital of Anaesthesia" - these words belong to the President of Romanian Society of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care, words that best describe the amplitude of the event organized between the 28th and 30th of September 2017 in Timisoara. There, 1400 specialists from 27 countries from all over the world attended debates, courses and sessions of a highly scientific level.
Timisoara was chosen to host the 5thWorld Congress of Total Intravenous Anaesthesia (TIVA-TCI) considering the tradition of 15 years that this town has in organizing the National Course for Guidelines and Protocols in Anaesthesia (GPATI), and these two events were held in conjunction this year. But, the most valuable reason for which such a complex event was organized in Romania, is the remarkable progress that this specialty has known during the past years in our country, and the worldwide appreciation for the Romanian school of Anaesthesia.
Anaesthesia and Intensive Care is considered the most technologized medical specialty. Surprisingly and also rejoicing, at this moment the hospitals in Romania are equipped with last generation technology, thanks to the academic programmes and the modernising projects constantly developed by S.R.A.T.I.
This is the reason for which the medical exhibition held along the three days of scientific sessions brought the most advanced technologies in front of the specialists, astonishing even the quests from the highly developed countries. The AIC wards in our hospitals can compare to those from abroad, and our physicians are trained to use the most modern protocols when they fight for saving human lives.
EYECON MEDICAL showcased several equipments with remarkable features from its portfolio: the Morpheus anaesthesia workstation, the Siaretron ventilator, together with the monitor and defibrillator that complete the standard endowment of any Anaesthesia ward and Intensive Care unit.
